Just got my T500 today. I'm sure I'll give some more impressions as I get into it, but the unboxing and an initial go at it were positive. It seems to be well constructed and laid out (although I would prefer the DI on the back). The knobs, buttons and switch have a good feel. I made a point to play my RH750 for about 5 minutes before playing the T500 and then did some A/Bing. The RH has the advantage of being tweaked to my preference. The T500 sounds good with the EQ controls at noon. I'm not sure what to make of the Taste control just yet. I tried it at various levels and didn't really dig what it does right of noon...I need more time with it, but it seems to cut out the top end more than anything else...like it's a variable LPF. The EQ seems fairly sensitive, with some smallish boost/cut changes making substantial sound changes.

Haven't had a chance to write anything up, but there seems to be very little interest or activity.
I played out with the T500 this past weekend and came away with the impression that is is plenty loud and clean, but while I would describe my preferred sound as "clean," there is a distinction between saying a sound is "clean" and saying it is "uncolored" or "transparent." While that's obvious (in hindsight), I didn't quite fully appreciate it before. I'm told the Eich is designed to be "transparent." I guess I've been used to the "color" of what I already like in the various heads I've owned and used.
One piece of advice (or a personal preference) I got was "EQs all pretty much at noon and use the taste control to add some vintage character as appropriate." That doesn't really give me what I'm after. I'll need to spend more time with it in a band setting.
Looks like there isn't much chatter on these yet. I'd like to see/hear more, as a former TecAmp user.

Phonetically, "eye-sh/ch", but sh/ch sound blend comes from a language difference and doesn't really occur in English at the end of words (different use of the tongue and palate, and different breath and emphasis - it's more like the h sound at the beginning words like hog and humor). Same as the word Reich, which is phonetically "Rike" in English and "R-eye-sh/ch" in German (or with a German accent)
I think in American English (especially there in NC, unless you want to be asked "what's wrong" or blessed and handed a tissue every time), "Ike" is probably fine. "Eye-sh" lands too heavy on the the sh, and "Eye-ch" has a hard ch end...bless you...here's a tissue.

German native speaker here.
That "ch"- sound is usually very hard to pronounce for English native speakers. A typical example is Johann Sebastian Bach.
I don't think I have ever heard an English speaker using the 'correct' pronunciation, it just comes with the mother tongue.
As drpepper mentioned, it often becomes "Ike", which is absoluely ok, but strickly speaking not really correct.
The "Ei" sounds just like the English "I".
