Eich Bassboard(s)

Here's my setup. I have my Markbass amp mounted on my pedalboard to minimize the amount of gear to be carried. Works great with the Porter & Davies KT platform.

First gig report: it's awesome!

The sensation it gave me was super cool. This is the feeling I have always sought in bass cabinets: feeling the bass rather than just hearing it. It allowed me to significantly lower the level of my bass in my IEM mix...resulting in quieter and much clearer IEM mix. Actually, I think I would be fine having no bass sound in my IEM mix at all (with fretted bass).

I was powering the Eich Board with MB Little Mark III amp (300W to 8ohm). The power for sufficient (I ran it gain at noon, volume at noon).

I am thrilled! I can't wait for the next gig. I would recomend it to anybody.

Sounds very tempting.
I once had a buttkicker LFE in my home cinema, and that thing (once well set-up, which took quite some time ..) was fantastic.

The good news with the Bassboard is that the setup time isn't anything more than you would do for a speaker cabinet setup. Plug it in, turn the volume to your desired brown note inducing rumble, and enjoy!

Sure.
It seems that the construction (number and placement of the shakers) is the same with all sizes, can someone confirm that ?
And comment on whether that's enough or not on the big one (L) ? :)

I believe you are correct. they all appear to be rated for 600W at 8 ohms, which suggests they all have the same driver compliment.

I haven't use any of the BassBoards, but the comments and reviews I have seen suggest they all have more power than would ever be needed (suitably driven of course). If I get one, it will be the L.

I believe this is the bottom of a large.
