Perhaps that’s the problem.

Also, if the effects send really has a 10k output impedance, you will lose another 6dB of drive level

I tried yesterday with another preamp (Red Eye) into the return of the Eich T500. The volume was acceptable although not surprisingly high with the master set to max. I guess it is the Jule Monique then
