Electra/Westone club

Me Neither. Wanna sell the neck? I love the feel, and am considering a custom build. It would be My FIRST. But...

Soon possibly - it's currently on my custom Super SLX which will get a custom fretted neck made for it in the next few months. (based on the Spectrum LX neck profile)

Is number 7 taken? That's the one that I would like to reserve.

Here are my qualifications!:D

The first one I picked up at a music store in Searcy, AR about 2 1/2 years ago for $59! Electra X630N

I also own an Electra-Westone X695 (came with a fretted and a fretless neck), and a Westone Quantum (Steinberger copy).

I used to own a X635 that I stripped all of the finish off of and installed EMG's. It had the fretted neck from my X695 on it when it was stolen a few years ago.

And, I owned a Westone Pantera 5 string. Beautiful, pearl white, looked awesome, sounded awful, and was neck heavy with a baseball bat neck.

Got a Spectrum LX this week to replace my dying bass. Had never heard of Westone til I saw this in the shop, and I'd been tossing up between going fretless or not, so this having the option to easily switch made it a pretty easy choice. In great condition, took me a bit to figure out what all the switches do though. Came with a set of chromes in the case too, so that was extra nice.

I was wondering who would score that one. Enjoy!

Was it one of you?
I was beyond excited to find an amazing looking Thunder II (double P) neck through with original case for $299.

I bought it! 3 hours later I got an email from guitar center... "The item(s) below has been canceled from your order.
:O
We're sorry you changed your mind, but we're excited to help you find your sound..."
WHAAAAAAATTTTTT? I didn't change my mind! You cancelled my order!
Anyhow, after a phone call and no help I gave up... I hope one of you got it.

What? They broke the contract - you should demand they follow through with their original sale. (what platform is this anyway?)

It was Guitarcenter.com. It's not a battle I'm willing to fight.
I've heard of others having bad experience. I doubt it's a contract. I could spend hours in the fine print, but I'm sure GC doesn't leave themselves open to liable over online discrepancies.

Unfortunately... it WAS NOT Me...

Well it showed up again, and I snagged it, and it's stunning.
It wasn't listed as a fretless, but it is. I can imagine that's why it was returned (and re-listed again not as a fretless :| ) It's either factory fretless, or was converted by a pro, because it's awesome.
I suspected it was fretless from the low res photos, but bought anyways since I wanted it, and I've always gassed for an old school MIJ double P setup, and hey, I have a crazy rare super hot neck through fretless now.
And I can justify it since I just sold two basses :D

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could give me some details on this. It was my dads bass, bought when he was a teenager late 70s early 80s. It doesn’t have a model number on it or anything else so chasing down infos been tough.
