Electric Vs Double

Just wondering, as I am new to this world of bass, is there any kind of friendly (or not) rivalry between the two camps?

This a bad idea a for a thread....but for a humors sake they are a bunch of elitist, grumpy, old curmudgeons and we are the uneducated, arrogant, Neanderthal kids that need to get off their lawn. In reality there is no rivalry, just don't go on the DB side saying you think theory hampers creativity they are cool cats over on the DB side, go say hi and ask questions if you have any.

About the only thing I know about the DB side of the forum is sometimes they ask questions about the popularity of jazz and then get annoyed with the answers.
