Every time I hear clips like this I want the OS Squeezer, Must not spend kids collage fund, must not......
I am getting a secret weapon very soon though. (From a builder we all know and love.) Can't give up the info until it is for sure, but I am stoked.:bassist::bassist::bassist:

That is still the up in the air part, but we/he might have a couple options. I just depends how things work out. For right now I just have to wait.

But yeah other than that is sound like we ask for the same thing: LFO Mod Box-expression stomp, rate expression pedal input. Isn't he building a MEGA-Phaser for you also?

Count me in. I'm in a similar situation as BigO. Dub reggae mixed with chaos. We're a rhythm section that invites different musicians to sit in and play on top of us. I've recently successfully merged a EHX bass micro synth with a Moogerfooger Lowpass Filter and I'm pretty stoked on the results. Will have clips ready soon. Just getting them into and exportable format.

Anyone got a reliable free site that I can post too? Putfile is not working for me for some reason

If you send them to me I can post them on my site, though I have band practice tonight and won't be home.

I talked to Mario yesterday. He was holding off on building my Mod Box to see if I wanted to get one with tap tempo. He said he'd just gotten a chip and would know by the end of the week if it would work.

For me, it was a matter of needing the smaller enclosure. And while it won't be as good as tap tempo, I think with expression control of rate I can match things up pretty well.

Yeah, Mario is building me a mega-phaser too, but he won't even have a chance to start on it until March.

Great idea, I was wondering who all the kindred spirits were here on TB

If nobody minds, I'll skip ahead in the row as well, I'd like to be nr 33..;

I have a BMS, but little other synths. I'd love to have the moogerfoogers and a kaoss pad, and come to think of it, much other stuff as well :smug:

the music I use it for is this weird kind of free improvisation (the motto seems to be: we don't make songs!).

I'll try to listen to all your stuff, but now it is time for bed...

oh, and who is mario?

Oh please don't tell me Mario's now tap-tempo capable. The only reason I haven't ordered his delay is because it doesn't have tap-tempo.

I still owe the tax man a grand, I can't be gassing for delays.

Bass, here. I'm really getting into making a bass sound like keys though

ATM I'm mixing a ambient noise album of stuff I recorded a long time ago and lost track of for a while that is almost all bass and voice, with a few odd bits thrown in like lap steel, fan with contact pickup, a old radio and a OLD drum machine all threw a DigiTech PDS-1002 and a H&H Tubeman; the whole thing kind'a sounds like being in the engine room a a space ship.

I have some new recordings up: Link Removed

The first two and last track would fit in with this club. Second and last tracks are single takes (except for the background synth for the first half of the second track). The second using quite a bit of the effects on my board, the last one being fun with reverse delay with some chorus and phaser. I wish I could play keys better (or even bass for that matter :hiding:).

I got keys, comin' from ova sea's.

I don't go both ways, sorry- weirded out bass! :p

I can't wait till I have some better clips to post. We've recorded our last 3 (of 5 total) jams, playing through the drummers digi03 protools rig and going through headphones. It's all just 'improvised' but of the 10 or so hours recorded, we have a few grooves that we'll probably start making into songs on thursday. The sound quality is really good, but depending on the structure/quality of the playing, I'll post a clip or two afterwards.
