Can I get on in up some with this club? I know it said no cutting in line but I'll take #666 if you don't mind me jumping forward a bit (I won't cut and paste myself in unless I get the okay

).
My main band loves my pedals. Sometimes I just bring one dirt box with me if I don't feel like lugging the whole board to practice, and someone always sounds disappointed that I won't be making any weird(er) sounds that day. Even the Noise Box gets a warm welcome, although I use it sparingly. I use effects here when appropriate, which means that many songs go completely clean, but others will have varying degrees of fuzz, delay, phaser, etc. when needed.

My other band seems to enjoy them, and since we're an improvisational act with an e'er revolving lineup (currently with 1 drummer, 2 bassists, and 2 guitarists), I can get pretty wild with them and it is just par for the course. The one guitarist has some multi-fx board and flies all over the place with many different tones. He lost all his patches last week though, a problem I never have since I use individual boxes.

My currently active solo project would not exist without my board, as this is where I go completely nuts with whatever I can. I usually spend more time playing the effects themselves instead of actually playing the bass, but I don't really have any rules for this crap so one time I had two basses plugged into the board, playing one normally while strumming open strings using my foot on the other, triggering a ring modulator.
