Epifani 902UL....Finally

I'd love to try one out, but to me I'd rather have the Eden WT800 model of dual sides PLUS a bridged output. I don't need 900w per side.

This of course, doesn't preclude me from trying one out at some point. And I'd sure love to give one a roadtest at some upcoming gigs I have, hint hint ;)

so far, so good! ;) no issues to speak of.

a little OT, but actually, if you open up the 902, you'll notice that unlike alot of amps, the PC board that the front knobs are connected to are mounted and supported inside the amp w/ brass risers and spacers. very smart. also, i'm a huge stickler for a neat and tidy interior, and the 902 looks gorgeous. on the whole, the amp just feels solid and well crafted like a nice instrument.

still, i'm a little surprised that more guys havent talked up the 902. cmon someone else has to have one, no? :eyebrow:

I just got a 902 C and used it this weekend with a Mesa Radiator 12 cabinet for a musicial. The tone was pretty amazing -- even without an Epifani cabinet!. I plan to spend some time this week comparing it to an Eden WT1205 and a Demeter VTBP201S / QSC PLX 2402 rig. My cabinets are a little limited (2 Radiators, 2 Acme Low B2's and an Eden D410 XLT -- no EA's, Bergies, Epi's or other nice exotics). But I'm sure I'll be able to draw some conclusions with the cabs I have. I'll keep you posted ....

After using the UL502 on some fairly high-volume ventures, I can't imagine ever needing the wattage that the UL902 gives ya. The lust for ultimate power is of course there for me in this matter, but practically speaking............?????

And this is a good revelation for me, as I was REAL close to pullin the trigger on the UL902. Had I done that I might have been summarily fired from every single one of my bands.
