When you plug in a second cabinet, isn't it technically in 'parallel', not series? Just asking. Pretty sure I'm right. But as always, I could be wrong.

Doh. My bad. I've seen a couple posts recently where people mentioned connecting a cabinet in 'series'. Guess I misread this one.
Sign me up! I have a PS210, and I love it. It sounds so much bigger than it is. People can't believe the low end I get from it.

Cool!! I have a PS112 and almost added a PS210 but jumped on a UL310 when it popped up. I really want to hear the PS 10" drivers.
Can someone please tell me if the PS210 is 4 or 8 ohms? I can't seem to find anything.

Pretty sure the PS210 is only 8 ohm, but please someone correct me if wrong.
But I know you can get the PS410 in either 4 or 8 ohm. I ALMOST got a 4 ohm PS410. That would be a slamming cab!!!

The 115 is 8 ohms only, and the 210 is available in both 4 and 8 ohms. I'm betting the 410 is available in both 8 and 4 ohms as well unless you're saying you know otherwise, in which case, I'd be very puzzled as to why they'd not offer one.
I had a chance to A/B a UL210 s1 and a PS210 at a GTG last month. The UL210 was 4 ohm, the PS210 8 ohm, so we did what we could to gain match. I also brought my UL310 s1 for further comparison. There were 3 jazz basses used: my friends Tokai Jazz with Bartolini TCT preamp, Marcus Miller Jazz, and Geddy Lee Jazz. Amps were a Markbass LMII and a Hartke 3500. The three of us there were in complete agreement on what we heard. Here's the "low" down:
UL210: Good sounding, though when you're close to it, it seems bassier than the UL310, almost "scooped" sounding. But about 15 - 20 feet back the bottom drops away some, and you don't feel it getting "under" like the UL310 does. You feel it in your jewels, but not your feet, but somewhat in your chest. Better overall tone than the PS210, mainly due to its mids and tweeter/woofer match. 38 lbs
PS210: Intended to be more economical than the UL line, but its definitely NOT cheap sounding. It sounded surprisingly good. Definitely more solid in the low end than the UL210, with more of it. It missed a little emphasis in the mids, which were just a little scooped sounding, though not excessively. Feet and jewels, but not enough chest. But still a very pleasant, pro quality sound. The tweeter (different from the one in the UL cabs, & slightly smaller) sounded good, but didn't pick up where the woofer left off as well as the UL cabs, leaving a small gap in the presence frequency range. Very muscular and authoritative for its size. 52 lbs
UL310: The best sounding cabinet of the three all around. Great tone, and very even from bottom to top. It was also unexpectedly louder than the UL210 at the same amp volume even though the 2x10 is 4 ohms and the 3x10 is 5.3 ohms, because of the additional driver. You could feel the sound in your feet, your jewels, and your chest. Excellent projection. 47 lbs

I'm sure they're a pretty sick stack! I remember the amazing difference adding the second cab made when I used Hartke 410XL's in the '80's - '90's. I kinda wish I had the chance to do that with two UL310's but unfortunately am not doing too many gigs these days that require it.
I have a pair of them myself... one S1 and one S2... only certain heads can drive them because together they go below 4 ohms of course, but oh my gosh. When I initially got my second one, I plugged into both of them with a preamp/power amp deal, and an MTD 535 with fresh strings. I nearly passed out from the head rush. It was really intense... I couldn't stop drooling for an hour.

Funny you should mention...I just ordered a PLX1804 and SKB Xrack3 for a higher powered preamp/power amp head. Maybe I'll have to pick up a second UL310 at some point!

Thanks for the review!! Like joker said, good to hear from others to get the reinforcment. Most gigs nowadays are hearbacks or practices where the UL310 is overkill. But I bring it most of the time just for giggles. My PS112 is one of the older ones that has the same grill as the UL line and I think the same tweeter. Great cab and I just bump up the high mids and it's killer.
I gotta find some time for some more gigs in the new digs.

Wanna talk sick, I have the Epifani UL 902 C, and I run my UL 310 S1 and my UL 410 S2 (4ohm) together. I play an MTD 535, and I have heaven here on earth. I don't use this configuration for volume, I just like the speakers near my ears so I can hear all of the nuances in my playing. I get compliments every time I gig. What is so fascinating is that I also have an MTD JJ5 bass (tct pre-amp) and a Yamaha Nathan East signature 5, and the Epi rig brings out in spades the tonal differences of each axe; and each of them sound incredible through my rig. I have a Skjold on the way, and Vic tells me to hold on to my b@%& when I plug that into my rig.
So, 2 gigs and a jam session so far with my new Epi UL210-2, and I have to say I am really impressed. Deep tight tone, nothing lacking, excellent gut kicking thump, and that feeling of authority, yet a sweetness and warmth I thought only came from the really big (heavy) cabs. I love it! Helps to have a Shuttle 6.0 driving it.

This may be a dumb question but is a "UL310" the exact same as a "T-310 UL"???
I've seen a used "T-310 UL" for sale that I'm considering buying.
