Same cab, no difference. UL310 is the short hand version of what they actually write under the "model name" on the back of the cabs, which in this case is T-310UL. Yes, it weighs 47lbs.
If my memory serves me right, the early Epifani ceramic cabs were called T's (I assume representing that they had tweeters). When the first UL's came out, they still had the 'T' designation, with the addition of the UL to indicate they were the neo cabs. When Nick updated the ceramic cabs, he renamed them 'NYC' and dropped the 'T' on both the ceramic (NYC) line and the UL line.
So, I'm pretty sure the T-310UL is just a relatively early 310UL Series I.
You might want to call the shop and make triple sure before you put your money down, but I'm virtually certain that's the history behind it.
Both my UL410 and UL112 have the "T" designation on it, both are series I, and they are both only about a year old.

Hey, just for kicks, I have to post this here...
For a period of time, I'm actually going to have TWO S2 UL410 cabs at my disposal... probably starting next week. It's a long story, but the short version is, I'm going to gig at least one time with both of them just to see what it's like.
I'm probably going to use a pretty dynamic sounding bass, like an MTD, Skjold, Warrior, and either my B1500 head or the TFB750. They're both 4 ohm cabs, so the head has to do 2 ohms.
On the other hand, I might also use my Eden 405 as a preamp into a Crown XTi2000, as well. That should be fun.
Ironically, I'm not really into screwing up FOH sound so I probably won't really crank it all that much, but at least once... gotta' see what it can do.
I'm thinking it might be on the loud side.

+1...I realize now that they all still have it on the plate. My comments were based on what they are called in the sales materials and on the Epi site, where the T has been eliminated. However, even my new 410UL (II) has the 'T' (for tweeter I assume) designation written on the control plate.
So, I was incorrect... having a 'T' on the control plate is no indication of age or anything else

speakin' of which, i've been rehearsing w/ a pop rock switchfoot kinda group, and my pair of UL310 just RIPS w/ my epifani 902. now, all i need is my soon-to-be sadowsky/nord/70s kicker, and i'm set to rule the tristate! moowhaha...
Sign me up Dude! Just bought a UL115 from Bikeplate. Probably going to pickup another UL112. That is such a great light cab. Shouldnt have sold the one I just had. Live and learn!

I've posted here before about this, but I've also driven these as a pair and yeah, it's a beautiful thing.

I have a pair of UL 410's (8 ohm) that I use on a regular basis with my UL502....the terms "Holy Crap", "What the fu&$", and "sweet jebus on a Popsicle" get used quite often on the louder stages I get to play on....It's a ton of fun!!! And really nice to hear great tone at hight volume.
I recently got a 502 and use a UL310-2 for bigger gigs. Also have a UL112 for the smaller stuff. I wouldn't mind a 110 for the even better portability. Just traded another amp for a Markbass F1 which sounds great through either cab.

try a shuttle 6.0 into your epifani cabs, and they make for a nice "rock" like complement to the fast and furious quickness of the hifi epifani heads.

any idea when the new ps heads are due to come out? i decided to keep my 2 epifani cabs and just need ot wait for a piccalo or maybe a ps-400 to try with them.
