Epifani Club! I've seen the "light"!

In a word AMAZINGLY!!
I have (1) UL112 now with another on the way next week. I will give my opinions after next weekends gigs. Oh where's my number? 
i like it alot. nice fat deep thick rock ready sounds. feels "slower" and not as quick as my epifani, but w/ my bob glaub, it gives me that thick tubey sound i bought it for. great for those chill singer /songwriter /acoustic /sensitive /girl-on-a-stool /heart-on-her-sleeve gigs.
for more punch, the semi para mids work fine, tho i find myself tuning for a higher midrange than usual to get that present fat punchiness.
Yeah, man, I can't even IMAGINE ever needing the kind of SPL's this thing can put out... oh my gosh...
any more info on the epifani piccalo or new ps amps? im really jonesing to have a little AB session witha piccalo and markbass f-1 through my nyc 1x10+nyc1x12 ministack of epifani goodness. any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!
oh wow. i thought it was supposed to be the spring for the piccalo. well, i think i might be buying something cheaper for now to hold me over. wish i hadnt just sold my gallien krueger 700rb....DOH!

hwo does the carvin head sound witht he epifani cabs? i will probably be considering their 600 watt head as an option until i get ym hands on the new epi line stuff.

The new line of PS amps seem to have identical power amps (class D) and pre's as the PS600... just an SMPS to reduce weight versus the toroidal in the PS600. So, if you can get your hands on a 600 (or a 502 for that matter), it will give you an idea of what the new line should sound like, so you can see if it's for you. It's quite different than the GK tone.
Any idea what the ps1000 will be rated for @ 8 ohms ?

should have clarified i suppose. the GK tone isnt me, that is why i ditched the gk700rb in the first place. but i was gigless for awhile and figured i could do some amp shopping, especially since i thought the new piccalo's were being released this spring. i dont necessarily "need" more wattage than the GK provided, but wanted something else tone wise. i will definitely try to test drive some of the other epi heads. do you think that the ps 600 and ul 502 will be as adequate of representatives for the piccalo tone as they will be for the other two newer PS heads? as that is the one i am most interested in. If that isnt the amp for me i will most likely being going the route you went with the MB F-1. thanks once again for the helpfull info.

I got to bust out my new Epifani rig today at an outdoor event. The UL 902 absolutely kills with two 4 ohm cabs. Round, punchy, and full of tone. Highly recommended.
A 410 + 212 combo driven by a 902 head?

Oh yea it sounded great. Deep round bass yet very clear. When it came time to do some thumpin' and pluckin' every note was hitting me in the back while I had a huge smile on my face. I have always been a fan of the 4x10's on top with 2x12's underneath rather than 4x10 by 1x15 rig. 70% of the time the PS 410 (which kills by the way) is plenty but I love the shows when I can run both cabs together.

Used my UL115 on its maiden gig recently. I used it as a stand alone with my shuttle 6.0. Man, this cab is fantastic! It sounds absolutely incredible and is only 43LBS.
