Here's my small rig - single UL 310 underneath the 502. I absolutely love this cabinet. Perfect for small-group stuff, and enough oomph & air movement in case things get a bit more loud.

Boutique bass amplification systems manufacturer Epifani Custom Sound is proud to announce the launch of its new industry leading DIST (Dual Impedance Speaker Technology) Series and entry-level Epifunky lines. The two new product lines will make their world debut alongside the company’s flagship UL Series and Performance Series products at the NAMM Show (Booth #3484, Hall D, and Booth #5284, Hall B, Anaheim Convention Center, January 15-18, 2009).
Lightweight, powerful, and tonally superior to anything previously available, the Epifani DIST series of cabinets incorporates innovative, industry-leading loudspeaker technology that ensures optimum system efficiency by letting users achieve the maximum output from their amp and cabinet combination. The Unique DIST Series technology, implemented by Epifani, includes a revolutionary new proprietary neodymium speaker design with a complex crossover and wiring network that allows the user to select the ideal impedance – 8 or 4 ohms – to optimize maximum power output from their amp and cabinet combination in a single or multiple cabinet system.
The DIST series is being launched with four speaker cabinet options, the DIST 410 (4 x 250 W 10-inch drivers, 40 Hz – 16 kHz, recommended 300 W to 2000 W), DIST 210 (2 x 250 W 10-inch drivers, 40 Hz – 16 kHz, recommended 300 W to 1000 W), DIST 115 (1x 400 W 15-inch driver, 39 Hz – 16 kHz, recommended 200 W to 800 W), and DIST 112 (1 x 300 W 12-inch driver, 44 Hz – 16 kHz, recommended 200 W to 600 W). All cabinets include a dual impedance selector switch for 8- and 4-ohm operation, a 100 W high frequency driver with on/off switch and adjustable level control via attenuator knob, and two Speakon® and two 1/4” input/output connectors.
All DIST series cabinets are of a proprietary structured Baltic birch design with extensive internal bracing to improve weight and strength, protected with proprietary high-tech, high-impact-resistant black paint, wraparound heavy gauge steel grill, and include recessed handles and heavy rubber feet. Together with the lightweight cast aluminum frame neodymium loudspeakers, the intricately machined internal construction of each DIST cabinet, handcrafted at the Epifani Custom shop in Brooklyn, perfectly balances sonic performance and rigidity with easy portability.
Epifani’s new Epifunky line introduces the renowned performance, natural sound, and reliability of the company’s high-end, boutique products at a price that is affordable to everyone, from those just beginning to learn their craft to hardworking club and touring musicians. The result of rigorous research and customer feedback, the Epifunky line continues the company’s history of innovation and adds a 150 W combo, a 300 W amplifier and four speaker cabinet configurations to its product catalog.
Epifani has distilled 16 years of design and manufacturing expertise into a range of speaker cabinets that have evolved from the company’s high-end products and are lightweight yet powerful. The product range encompasses the Epifunky 410 (4 x 10-inch, 400 W RMS, 40 Hz – 16 kHz), Epifunky 210 (2 x 10-inch, 250 W RMS, 44 Hz – 16 kHz), Epifunky 115 (1 x 15-inch, 200 W RMS, 36Hz – 16 kHz), and Epifunky 112 (1 x 12-inch, 150 W RMS, 45Hz – 16 kHz). All four cabinets feature proprietary ceramic magnet loudspeakers and incorporate a 50 W tweeter with three-way level control. The cabinets are constructed from Baltic birch with dado joints and include a pair of 1/4-inch connectors, recessed handles, high-impact metal corners and 18 gauge steel grills. The cabinets are finished in hardwearing “Elephant Skin” Tolex.
The Epifunky 150C Combo Amp features an unusually powerful 150 W amplifier paired with a proprietary 15-inch, 200 W woofer and 50 W adjustable tweeter ,is able handle any live situations and stiles with plenty to spare and a sound that is rich, fat, and round. Frequency response is 45 Hz – 16 kHz. Housed in a front-ported cabinet constructed from void-free wood laminates and covered in tough “Elephant Skin” Tolex, it features a steel grill and high-impact metal corners.
The Epifunky 300 amplifier completes the line, generating 300 W into 4 ohms with a frequency response of 20 Hz – 25 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of 90 dB. Front panel features include adjustable input gain with peak LED, 3-band shelving EQ with mid cut level adjust and master volume with mute. The Epifunky 300 includes a Speakon® / 1/4-inch combo output connector, DI out with adjustable level control and pre/post-EQ selection, tuner out, effects sends and returns (with blend pot), and ground lift.

The DIST system sounds interesting. Hopefully it's more functional than the infamous "accuswitch." Is the DIST an entirely separate line than the UL series?
As for the Epifunky line....Finally, a company that's worse at naming products than I am!
If the price point is low enough, these should be some KILLER cabs.
...unless the drivers are super custom and have dual voice coils or something, I was having the same thought.

Hmmm.... when I look at the pictures from last year's Epi NAMM booth, I think it might make sense to get some (or 'any') of those products to market before showing yet more prototypes that are years away
It's a shame there isn't some sort of rule the NAMM association can apply to sort out the vaporware from the real products. Kudo's to Genz, Sadowsky, and the other companies that don't show new products until they are within a month or two of shipping.

It does seem like a bit of a joke. Did we get taken here? I sure did! It was just serious enough that I guess it could actually be 'real'.
