I am wondering the same about the Hipshot Supertone bridge. It might be worth contacting them to see if it will fit the Embassy.

Oof. An interesting idea. Even if the screw spacing was the same, if you tried to use the existing tailpiece mounting holes on the Embassy, it looks like it would dangle past the edge of the body, so you're looking at drilling out some holes a bit further up on the body. The trick would be finding a position far enough up where the old holes don't weaken the wood but not so far as to take it out of the bridge adjustment range. It would be a functional improvement to my '65, but I ain't puttin' any new holes in that one.
Yeah, I was looking at the 3-point, which would clearly have involved drilling. The 2-pointer is supposedly set up to go into the old bridge mounting points. Oddly, none of the customer photos on the hipshot site seem to show the 2-pointer on a bass. Not sure what I'd do with the tailpiece if I had one of these, but it looks like it would actually drop in. I'm actually more confident for my old '65, which was built with real Thunderbird hardware, than for the newer builds, where Epiphone might have changed something to save a few cents.
I have a H.S.3 pointer and I'm probably going to get a 2. There's no need of a tailpiece with either and no drilling is needed .IMO these are the best replacement options, one big reason being the ability to raise individual saddle height.They're a bit pricey at 100 bucks on average but I think worth it if you are interested in replacing the stock bridge.
I put the Hipshot Supertone 2 pt.bridge on my Embassy and it does indeed fit.I find it superior in just about every way.The intonation is perfect and now I can fine tune the string height.I like it.
Game changer! Please send me the exact part # and link for the hipshot and post a pic of that!!! That is amazing! Does it expand the room to intonate fhe E string to accommodate larger gauges, as I would like to upgrade to hipshot tuners with drop d on the E string. You're experimenting with the upgrade could be a game-changer. Did it change the sound significantly (SUSTAIN, ETC.). With small changes in Hardware, I predict the embassy bass can push the sound very near to the level of Gibson USA's Thunderbird with the Babicz. Let me know the part, and please post a pic, as this would be beneficial for a lot of Thunderbird owners as well. I think the Embassy bass will become my low end primary Bass with a new bridge and hipshot tuners with drop D and of course potentiometer and wire upgrade. Although the stock electronics & awesome Pickups sound solid.
This bass sounds Wicked going through my Rumble 500 , & Gibson Thor bass amp; Effects looping into my Eden wtdi preamp, it gets very close to warwick coevette dark tonal growl with a slight adjustment to the bridge pickup.

I'm very happy with the Hipshot Supertone 2 pt Bridge.IMO it is a big upgrade over the Gibson which I think is the worst ever,though some have little problem with them.I notice a bit more sustain but these 65 yr.old battle worn ears aren't the best judge tone wise being honest.My biggest plus is the intonation is much better,crack on which I could never achieve with the Varitone.Another big plus is the ability to raise and lower individual saddle height that was impossible with the stock bridge.Can't help with a part number or link because I'm an old school techno-boob. But they are available everywhere easily found with a google search.Mine was $86 on Reverb and worth every cent.This upgrade made a great cheap bass better,I love her even more now.

3/8" tuners will work. I briefly installed Hipshot HB6Cs on the Embassy I tried out.
Are you still waiting on the green Embassy? They must be selling well.But it's definitely worth the wait.
When I found out about them the green was already sold out everywhere, I could have gotten a smoked almond, and I was tempted, and all colors are sold out for at least the last month.
I really want the green, so I will wait. AND I got a huge discount...

Does that Supertone 2 completely cover up the screw holes from the stock tailpiece? From the pictures it looks like it does. Also what's up with the 2 screws on the side it doesn't really look like they are tight looks like there's a lot of slop there? I don't own one of these and never had anything like it I'm used to Fender style bridges mostly.
I know I talked of this before but I can't find the post.Has anyone installed the Star Guitar Systems Embassy Pro wiring harness upgrade? Does it make a difference?
So, rollercoaster of love. I actually returned this bass not long after I bought it, only because there was a deal on a basically brand new 2016 American Pro P bass just like the 2008 model that was stolen from me in 2010. The Embassy still had the film on the pickups and pickguard when I returned it.
I just today went back to the store where I bought the P bass and re-bought my Embassy - I mean it is literally *the* exact same bass. It hung on a wall and I guess didn’t get much attention as the film was still on. The pickups and pickguard, and even the tuner backs, and other than a little fretbuzz that it now has on the G string, it’s still in factory condition. It’s back home now where it belongs and it sounds amazing, feels amazing, and looks amazing.
One thing that I did notice however that I didn’t notice before is that these tuners kind of suck. It was out of tune, and I downtuned it to tune back up, and when I tuned it back up, the tuners each turned maybe 1-4 turn before the pitch started rising. What’s up with that?
