It probably would not be one's primary instrument, but it is cool to have, and it isn't that expensive so there ain't no reason not to get it if you like the V look.

Wish it had black hardware. The gold looks out of place on that bass.

Its a solid bass. But I think it is priced accordingly. Sounds pretty good, neck plays fairly smooth and fast.Looks cool - it's a vintage-looking V. But on the other hand it's a V. It's real, singular purpose is to look cool on stage and in photos. If you go to record, you're gonna bring your best sounding ax- chances are it won't be the V. If I owned it and I had to sell off gear for some reason, it would probably be the first to go.
But is damn cool looking and I still want it! I'd change the hardware over to chrome I think....
