epiphone thunderbird V pro series

Okay so most people have seen this sick new epiphone t bird v pro series bass. Its got ton of sick features. If you havent been lucky to lay your eyes upon this here is the link. http://www.epiphone.com/news.asp?NewsID=1412

Anyways the price isnt too bad, but after some time it will go down and if you pick it up at guitar center you should get a good deal as usual, but theres one thing that i cant seem to figure out. WHEN THE HECK DOES IT COME OUT? ive searched all throughout the internet looking at every single website and nothing. I mean is it a surprise or something? Or have they not announced it? If anyone knows please tell me beacause i cant wait to get my hands on one of these.

its neither tho its epiphones wishes it was a bad ass bass bridge either way putting a hipshot bridge on the old 3pt style was the best configuration they should have done that with these.

hey hobobob74 on gibson .com it says for 4 string the market price is $830, but for a 5 string the price is $999 so if you buy at guitar center or let sales happen they will drop.

Although I've always been a fan of the Thunderbird look, for their price there are so many other options that are of higher quality. It's possible that this one could break the trend though and provide quality that is relative to the price(It's hard to say without having touched it).

It's an ABM, same bridges they use on the Tobias basses.
