Drove 40mins to meet up with a dude from craigslist to check out his Peavey T-40. Looked alright in the ad but it did say it was refinished. When I saw it in person I was shocked on how sheeetee it was. I guess refinished to him means take a spray can of black and poop all over the bass. He wanted $300 and I was like...nahhh. So that trip was all for nothing. Off to my buddys wood shop to work on some pedalboards and to get started on this SG guitar kit I have had sitting in my closet for 2yrs.

Thought about getting it, after finding some negative reviews regarding their durability+tone I got a Zoom MS-70 instead. Gets the job done, sounds nice but I don't really need it.
Yeah read they can be noisy too.
Can of good off would of took the rattle can crap off. But that's a lot to have to do that work
Yeah it wouldnt have been that big of deal to remove the crap and I wanted to sand it down and refinish it myself anyways but I didnt think it was worth what he was asking for considering the condition and the lack of the OHSC. Probs a good thing anyways. I should start saving for a Ric.

You have to install a miniature bass drum pedal on your bass to work it properly
And get a trained spider monkey to kick it.
Totally not stoner/doom related, but I submitted an entry to a mix contest. Winner gets a Telefunken Copperhead mic, runners up get an M82 (dynamic mic) or a free premium membership to the site. Dunno if I have any chance of winning, but it was good practice. The track is a live bluesy song by Big Head Todd & The Monsters.
