Just now getting my wits about me aka the hangover's clearing. Great gig last night! Good bill, good crowd and good reception. Probably made enough money to finally get a small merch order together, too! Plenty of gear sharing going on all night: all three bassists shared an SVT 810 and I leant my AD200 to my pal in the band after me b/c he'd been having problems with his head. The Meat Box made the lows monsterous, it was fun to push the PA.

That's cool, i like being able to hear parts of my rig from out front. There's a local retro black/thrash metal band
we play with a lot and we usually share cabs.

damn you robbed somebody haha. on ebay these things in good working shape go for like 100-200 per.

I know, on reverb.com some go for $300 plus. Prices are usually inflated there, but still...

I saw the ad minutes after it went up yesterday and immediately emailed the guy. I just got lucky, i guess. I'm pretty pumped, it's going to be a fun project. I'm especially psyched that it's the older model with the blend control. Plus the mumny face is badass, haha.

VEGA got its first show back from hiatus. April 12th, were opening for my drummers, old guitar players cover band, in some rural Wisconsin bar in the middle of nowhere. Its going to be a blast, well probably bring the bar down sonically speaking!

We had to press reset when we went on hiatus, effectively putting us at the bottom of the band ladder again, so were keeping a low profile in MKE right now until we can get this album out, then well come back like a DOOM powered demonized steam roller.

I should sell the mammoth being it's used very sparingly and it's still worth a mint. Like the size and huge lows and kills with the wah

That's probably the best thing about those Mammoths. They retain their value pretty well.

I also thought the wah/mammoth clip you shared sounded pretty good!

I've thought to replace it with a mastotron for a while just never pull the trigger. Probably could get by with any super fuzz based pedal that has good low end.

Thought about getting it, after finding some negative reviews regarding their durability+tone I got a Zoom MS-70 instead. Gets the job done, sounds nice but I don't really need it.

NAD!!! Finally finished putting together a smaller, little-upstairs Rig of Doom!
Snagged the old uk era Trace cab for $60 last year, just got the acoustic for $90... Haven't played it yet, but it should be fine for noodling around on the couch. Thinking about putting blue knobs on the head.
