latest acquisition. Low impedance and low efficiency though, going to need a Dunwich amp to drive them properly :). What do you say Nick? 5 watt amp with lots of current.

Thanks Man! We got the space for another one so we took it in. I still need to get a proper outdoor pen for them to enjoy natural sunlight more, but we landed some dog kennels last year that will do for this season.

On other news the Tele P90 with the Strat type headstock lives! Still need to set the action, and swap the tele string retainers with strat style string retainers, just to little for 12 gauge I guess, easy swap though. All the sanding on Sunday paid off.

Right now I have an old Ampeg 8x10 with questionable speakers. A Hartke Transpoter 4x10 and an SWR Son of Bertha 1x15.

Plus a Hartke HA 5500, SWR SM 400s, and a Tech 21 Landmark 300.

I mix and match and get some good sounds but I'm never satisfied for long.

I assume still just the g&l? Can't go wrong with a p bass. This may sound weird but for giggles you could try to figure out the best 4 speakers in the 810 and maybe throw the Hartke speakers in the ampeg box and have it half and half. Should be 8 ohms a half and think you can run the landmark with that cab safely. Not a fan of the SWR 115. Great mid punch but seems to be easily over powered and get kinda farty. At least the two I have played. The land mark is basically a bbdi and pretty much the industry standard for recorded bass in rock and metal. Other then the cab with landmark easiest way to make a bad tone day get better is a fresh set of strings.

Hi guys. I see everyone on this forum is talking about fearful cabs. I currently play in a Sludge band where we use baritone guitars tuned like a bass VI E-e. I have a peavey classic 400 head and a guitar stack in some sort of bi amp setup.
Do you think a fearful 215 would suit my needs of low frequency? I'm wondering if this kind of cabs would pair well with a tube head like the cl400.

This looks great! How would you say this cab handles the CL400? Mine almost destroyed every cabs I plugged it in (peavey 8x10, ampeg 8x10, homemade 2x15...) I cant put the clean channel volume above 3 or everything farts dangerously.

2nd jam with new drummer last night. Is he "the one"? Let's hope. He doesn't have much background in the loud & heavy department, more of a indie rock / jazz guy, but he's very serious and very skilled. And like me, 38yo, with 2 kids, wife, stressful job, may just be feeling the need to smash the sh!t out of sh!t.

It feels nice to still be using my very first bass rig of a GK400 head & beat up Peavey 2x10… as a jam space vocal PA! I acquired that set up with my scholarship money from an Iowa City pawn shop in 1994, one of the best purchases I ever made.

The P90 lives! LOL. I understand all the P90 love now, the bridge loves dirt an the neck is great for leads or clean. I know it isn't anything fancy but took a lot of sanding to get that neck to fit the Squier body and thrilled it worked out in the end. Plus less than $150 in it. I slapped a set of 12 guage strings on it, think I can get it down to C standard without being noodles with that guage.

There's actually no bass in the band. We are two baritone players, one plays the low parts with only guitar amps, I play the lower parts with a bass amp and a guitar amp, sometimes with a sub octave pedal. How do you think the F215 compare to the 66 for this kind of music?
