Just now realized the doc is the mayor from Ghostbusters, right?
is it a legit 70s less paul bass? short scale version?
whats there to talk about? the new trilogy is like a filmed abortion in slow motion that lasts for half a day.
See, I'm just a skosh more hopeful than that.
No its new. Long scale. Played one in NYC at Sam ash. Awesome sound. Really heavy. Great feel. Really dig it but I'll have to sell my epi tbird to keep from being tight on money. Mixed feelings on that... Actually the guy sounds interested in it. Put it out there as trade bait.
I believe Mike is refering to episodes I-III and not the currently in production VII
So will I be seeing anyone at this next weekend?!

Eastwood is about to put out a very similar one. And Fof, what's your rig?
I have seen kurt ballou play a guitar with that body style live back on axes to fall tour.
It was a first act
Ric or RG body would be awesome. Thunderbirds are usually mahogany...Man I would love to land one of those Gibson Money basses someday. Even the old Gibsons Les Pauls with the active humbuckers in it would make me happy. I got those TB Plus pickups in the other day, trying to think of what kind of body to have built for them. JMac hooked me up with a cool maple jazz bass neck with the black block inlays on it. I am tempted to just order another 51 pbass body in Mahogany but with belly and arm cut outs on it and have the pups routed in the same spot as a TBird.
Honestly, I could probably be content with my tbird, terror, 810, and demon/rat.In other news...I'm stuck in another gear crisis.
What is indispensable to you guys nowadays?
I have lots of pedals and amps but nothing is making me happy as of late.
Totally random but we took in another rescue Sulcatta tortoise. Torti is a little smaller than old Wilbur.

Yep,he had a signature First Act guitar. A surprising amount of dudes in heavy, screamy underground bands were playing custom First Act guitar and basses a few years back.I have seen kurt ballou play a guitar with that body style live back on axes to fall tour.
It was a first act
Pretty sure those are 2 different guitars. You`re talking bout his new guitar company and V&K probably saw a custom First Act guitar, that tour was a few years ago.Probably that signature one he has coming out.

Such incredible creatures- thanks for saving another one
