Eric Avery returns to Jane's Addiction

Flea is the bassist on that one, but still a cool track.

I'm wondering if Chris Chaney is taking some time off from music after Taylor Hawkins' death. I know they were very close.
thanks for the tip,had no idea that was flea.. i love that album, the demos and live takes are the best!
Taylors death is still hard to take.. sure have lost a lot of greats..

I am as happy as a clam.....kettle whistle forever..
Im pretty sure that was flea on bass on that version of Jane.

The kettle whistle version. Which is, by far, the best version of that song

Freakin love Jane's. I had no problem with Chris Chaney being in the band. Glad Eric is back.

Oh yeah, Chaney is great. I've seen them a couple times with him and he kills it. But I never got to see the original lineup before they disbanded.

Speaking of the upcoming tour, I wonder what the lineup will be? I know Navarro has been dealing with long COVID symptoms for awhile, but I assume he's on board. And that article didn't mention specifically that Avery is doing the tour, but it seemed like he's doing it.

Definitely Avery on Jane Says. Actually a very old recording of the song I think from their final show at the first Lalapalooza. Cant wait to hear some new riffs from him. Been quite some time. :bassist:

The kettle whistle version? It's flea in the live concert that it was taken from, and it's flea in the "official music video" of the song.
