ESP-ltd vintage 214 fretless $239.00

Man! This is a killer bass. I was saying no way that I need to buy anything, but I HAD to pull the trigger on this! Thank you. I have the LTD Vintage 214 fretted version and it is bitchin. The necks feel amazing. The P pickup is a beast. Construction of the bass is way beyond anything Squire. Buy it.

Ive been looking for to try fretless for a while and this is effffn perfect. $239 and cause I'm in CA, no tax and free shipping. Cant beat it.

I agree. You really can't go wrong.

They took my money and so far, 5 days later, no tracking number. I called, they said "maybe we can still get them." Not holding my breath.

Guy was cool though, just no bass yet. :(

Where did you order from? ProAudioStar? If yes, it took them about 5 days to get the thing out of the warehouse and assign a tracking number. I live near less than an hour from the place and I was tempted to get in my car and pick it up.

Well, it appears that the link I used to buy from was expired or broken and just not removed from the website. They thought they had it back ordered, and Try to get more from the manufacturer, but none were available.

Chris from proaudiostar handled it excellently and, offered me a discount on anything else I might want. Oh well, it happens.

Sorry it didn't work out. I just upgraded mine with Geezer Butlers and some cool tortoise capped knobs. I know its usually not recommended to put money into an inexpensive bass, but the amount of fun I'm having with this bass is worth the cash outlay to me! Bought for $235. Got the pickups for $125 and spent $25 on knobs. I just wish it was a pound or so lighter. I am gigging with it now and the weight takes its toll on nights we play 3 sets.

I already have the Vintage 214 fretted. I put a Bartolini set in mine. I'd hate to ever have to part with this bass. I was hoping for the fretless version.
