Yeah, that was a real Guild Starfire bass that has had its nose cut off its head. The wood (that would normally be under a black headstock veneer with the Guild inlays in it) is correct and so are the curves of the sides, the nut, the tuners, etc. Crazy steal at $200. As others have mentioned, one of those pickups alone is worth $300+ easily if it's an original, functional Hagstrom Bisonic. Even if you were only able to save the bridge and 2 pickups, that would be worth at least $750 in value right there. Body would certainly be salvageable though if you made a replacement control plate out of some nice wood... and if the neck still plays... the headstock can be tolerated! Man, this is the kind of thing I wish I'd just come across at a yardsale or pawn shop.
