I like the music, but I have been enchanted by those images -- those cards -- especially since someone keeps updating and making changes to the line-up even though Joe Bethancourt died almost a decade ago. I wanted those images to copy and place on the walls of my house, but I never could find them. WHERE was Bethancourt's successor getting them from? Every online search I tried came up dry or nearly so.

Until today. I finally hit on the right words and got this link

I was up there once in my teens, and they were redoing a display of Civil War surgeons' equipment and had several large boxes of photos, lithographs, handbills, etc. I don't know how one would go about getting access, but I imagine there is some process in place for that.

Typically you are required to sign in and agree to their rules, then fill out a request form for the materials you would like to study. Photos or copies may or may not be allowed, depending on the condition and copyright of the materials.
