I put 'em on at the end of August, and I play for a living, so I guess a few hours every day.
Marcus:
Thanks.
To heck with it.
I just went back to the Belcanto G and Pyramid Soloflex D with Spiro A (Weich) and E. No problems with my pick up, the Belcanto G sounds full and gut-like...and the D, which matches well, has already been on for more than 6 months and sounds as good as ever. No advantage in staying with the EP's. They sound good but no better than what I am using now. I play pizz only.
I'll keep the EP's for my King which is out on loan.

I can live with that, I guess. The EPs are great strings. So are most of the other strings I've tried over the years. But when I need to play balls-to-the-wall jazz in 2008, the Spiros win.
I've come down w/ TBDB Bi- Polar String Syndrome. Commonly known as 'Toad's Disease'
