It’s so he can return it to GC after the tour claiming it was too heavy. I hope he kept the box.
After Close to the Edge I lost interest in Yes.
After Peter Gabriel left Genesis I lost interest, never lost interest in his solo albums.
After Songs from the Wood I kind of lost interest in Jethro Tull.
Hung in 'til the end with Pink Floyd.
Always happy to hear any King Crimson.
I kind of lost interest in Gentle Giant after The Power and the Glory or Freehand.
Hung in there for Bowie until Let's Dance.

Not far from true - musicians of this lineage/caliber could play any bass or guitar and as long as it had a decent set-up - it would suffice for their needs. Can you say 'gear nerd"?
My Rickenbacker 4002 (yes, "2," not "1" or "3") is so old...

When it was made, RIC was still called the Rickenbacker factory and they didn't have stickers. They didn't need to. Everybody knew they were made (and still are) in Santa Ana, California.

I bought a new one last year, first thing was pull the sticker off and the plastic on the pickguard. There's a guy here who has a roll of them.
I'm glad to see that he had enough sense to keep the bridge pickup cover on the bass.
I never remember you leaving the cover on.
Meh. Geezers who were once members of big bands have been doing their little tours these days. The whole thing (not thong) bores to tears.
That said, there's nothing offensive about it. Howe playing Yes music.... ANY Yes music... is perfectly fine. He was an integral part of that band for a long time. He can play whatever he wants.... as long as I don't have to go watch his old arse do it.

The sticker doesn't bother me that much. My first bass was a Ric 4001 (In Firegolo) because...Chris Squire - in that day, we all wanted to be Chris.
What bothers me more than the sticker is that a guitarist is playing bass. Not a lot more, but a bit more nonetheless. I'd be happier if a real bassist was playing the instrument.

The tour rental company is going to need to return it to GC since they don't keep one in their own warehouse. Whatever Mr. Howe wants, Mr. Howe gets.
I did on occasion but eventually they went back on. Remember the one I bought from you many years ago?
Well, this is the 50th anniversary of CTTE. Earlier this summer I went to this concert, and, it certainly was no Bore-O-Rama!

Anything outside of a 60 mile radius of your home is a tour. Extra credit if a passport is involved.
