Wow. Tough crowd. I try not to be a hater of those who are more famous than me, have more financial success than me, have played in front of bigger crowds than me, have better basses and gear than me, have better chops than me, and have more decals on their pickguards than me. Is there anyone on this forum who would refuse to fill in for Steve Howe on a little mini Yes tour if offered the opportunity, assuming they were capable of playing the bass parts and were free to do so?

I'm pretty sure the guys with the best gigs don't pay much attention to trivial things line that.. it's almost like they are more focused on performing or something?

Yes, 50 years has passed.
A whole bunch of his peers (same age famous musicians) have died since then also.

First thing to go when I get a Ric is the sticker and the pickup cover. Howe's bass is most likely rented for the tour, might be his but I doubt it.
He should take it off and also hide the Rickenbacker logo under duct tape.

My guess it was a loaner/demo bass.

Well, this is the 50th anniversary of CTTE. Earlier this summer I went to this concert, and, it certainly was no Bore-O-Rama!
This is the second half of the show.
It strikes me as an older rock legend surrounded by a pretty good dad band and 7 or 8 local middle school chorus teachers singing backups. But if it brings you joy, I'm all for it.
I leave the decal on my banana while eating it.
I have a lot of respect for Steve Howe and all the other musicians who have taken the stage under the YES banner. Over the years, I’ve seen YES at least 8 times and was always blown away by their incredible playing. All that said, I’d take the “Made in U.S.A.” sticker off ASAP.
i always remove all banana stickers before hanging them on the banana hanger . One of my OCD quirks I guess.
