Exotic Pickguards... Let's See Them!

I've always wanted a rising sun pickguard for my black P bass but don't know where to get one, and I sure don't posses the artistic talent myself.

The jazz in the middle has a pickguard I got off ebay. The pbass now looks like this.

I have a couple "custom" pickguards, not exactly exotic, but I have the pop up pick holder T-bird...

basically, all you gotta do is cut out any kind of artwork, out of a magazine , poster, or book, glue it on with white glue like elmers, ( it dries clear ) trim it with an exacto knife, touch it up with a fine file. spray a couple of coats of clear. fini

very simple

mine's been on for close to a year now, still holding up great

buy a white pickguard paint it draw on it , whatever. than go to a hardware store. get some clear coat spray paint and follow the directions as listed on the can. you can also have a lot of fun with watter slide decal paper and your printer.
