Manitou - just an RPG character name I came up with - not anything to do with mountain bikes. The funny thing is, on these boards, I usually just use my first name, last initial and figured I'd be better off with a "pseudonym"...

Manitou is from North American Indian legend I believe and there was a cheesy '70s horror movie of the same name :)

From the lyrics to my favorite cover song ever, Metallica's version of BOC's "Astronomy". The spelling...well, I'd seen it 20 different ways, and I picked from the lyrics site I most trusted for accuracy. Personally, I thought it was cooler as "Destinova" but uh, this way gave me something to ramble senselessly about.

"Shazbot" is originally the mild swearword used constantly by the alien character Mork, played by Robin Williams (before he did movies),on the sitcom "Mork and Mindy" inthe early 80's, or possibly maybe late 70's.

As you all know, Marley's Ghost was Scrooge's deceased partner in Dicken's "A Christmas Carol". I feel kinship with him since I am old enough to be almost dead and have been known to be a haunt.

Marley's Ghost was also my Prog Rock cover band which I foolishly quit in 1978. :bawl: We did an ass kicking version of Yes' Roundabout
