There's some "substance" on the camera lens. But maybe we should leave the details a mystery.
I rmb my friends painful voice when he told me his tech guy advise to replaced ALL the tubes in his FULL TUBE amp…
12 power tubes...... I'm glad my SVT only has 6.
But those pictures are always pretty anyway
For what it’s worth 6x 6550 is roughly the same cost as 12x 6L6, though I’d take fewer points of failure with 6 tubes over 12.

OTOH, I prefer the tone of 6L6s, especially the 7581A variant.
It’s unlikely to the point of failure, but one fine day, the tone does not feel right, and you finally decided to bring it to a tech after procrastinating over another month.
The tech call back after a week and ask your confirmation to proceed with replacing all the tubes, at one go…
Then you realise the unit price of tubes just went up after inflation, and wonder if you should get 2 sets of tubes. One for immediate repair and another set for 10yrs down the road…

every fresh string will need replacing. every sports car motor will one day need rebuilding. a raced bike will likely be crashed and wear out faster. the knees we walk on will one day need replacing assuming we are blessed to live long enough.
love and be fearless. play and enjoy tube amps! dont be afraid to live life. when i must replace all 12 i will do it with a smile knowing i had many hours of enjoyment. Enjoyment and tone that no solid state/class d amp can replicate.
