Extended range bass amps..

You use this for electric bass??

I use it as an "always on" devise with all of my basses, adjusting the HPF to suit the venue; it has no audible effect at its lowest setting, and is truly useful when tuning a bass (especially DB) to a listening environment. I'd like to see this feature built into more bass amps.

In addition to the HPF, FDeck's HPF-Pre also provides a high impedance input for the Piezo pickups in my DB and EUB, and the passive pickups in my P-bass; its active pre-amp boosts the signal cleanly, improving the signal-to-noise ratio.

Affordable, effective, and subtle. What's not to like? :D

I'd like to see fdeck do a 4th order BW for electric bass, with either a narrow sweep range starting at 35 Hz, or switchable selections covering the range of enclosures bassists are using these days.

Sounds like that would be right up your alley, Greenboy. Perhaps you and Francis could collaborate on a third iteration. :)
