That link is for a Pushic bass, but it looks pretty cool and the price is very nice ...

I imagine it could have some neck dive issues with the strap horn attaching at the 15th fret. ERBs are unfortunately much more sensitive to that sort of thing. Can't beat the price though.

I'm a little late but count me in....

Great to see an ERB-friendly zone on TB :D Can I have a membership number please ??

I bought my Conklin GT7 via eBay from the USA. The auction finished at 3.30am UK time, so I set an alarm, dragged myself out of bed and put a bid in at the last moment. 3 days later it arrived safely. The GT7's have to be the best way to get into 7 strings, the only downside to this particular bass is that it's heavy at 14 lbs. It sounds great, plays great and when the Sei 7 arrived the Conklin went out to be de-fretted and ramped, so it's still in service.

For years I wanted a Sei bass www.seibass.com so when I had the chance to order one, I didn't hesitate. The scale length and string spacing are the same as the Conklin, which I'd been playing for 5 years or so at the time. Sei basses are of the highest quality, the attention to detail is just stunning.

Only a few weeks ago, I took delivery of the ACG 9 string www.acguitars.co.uk This is the second 9 string which ACG has made and it was because of this building experience that I went with the local, Scottish luthier. It's marvellous instrument with great playability and super-flexible electronics.

I was close to buying this bass before instead placing an order for the custom Benavente that I currently play. This must have been late '04 or early '05 I think.
Very cool bass indeed.

Much to my extreme disappointment, that is not my bass ... :bawl:. I have been trying to locate that particular bass for well over two years now, last I heard it was in Europe somewhere. This is FBB #1025-00

If anyone ever come across FBB #1025 please let me know where it is ... perhaps I can entice the owner to let her go ...

Hey whats up guys!

!Just got an email from Fred over at BEE BASSES! :hyper:

He sent me a pic of the uncarved Flame Maple, Purple Heart, and Straight Hard Maple 9 peice neck for my 9 string Bee Bass. (Stinger model) He told me he'll send me a few more pics tomorow of the Bookmatched Acrylicised Ebony fingerboard, along with the routing of the tripple custom wound 9 string jazz pups. :bassist:

i'm also including a pic of the body woods. Flamed Koa, with a Flamed White Limba Body.

Just a thought, I own a stambaugh single cut 8 and its a 34inch scale bass. Right now its tuned F#-F but there is little tention on the low F# as a result of being at the same scale as the high strings. Alot of guys do fan frets which in my eyes is the way to go if you plan to tune low F# or lower. I just ordered a B so it will be B-Bb. Also Surine is turning out some really awesome looking and playing ERBs I have my eyes on a quest right now, Check em out
