Extended Range Bass (Club??) Thread

Nice bass Embelisher! I still have and love my #1 go-to bass, conklin gt-7. Thats what i used to record the "ERB WORK" i have linked up at the bottom of my posts. Since i like a higher range sound, I have my Gt-7 tuned to Low B.

On a related note, I just got a new pic from Fred, over at Bee Basses. Its my new Bee Bass 9-stringer, which is also tuned to low B.

Here she is. Better pics coming soon. (without spongebob)

Firstly I am not dissing the maker of the bass ehque is looking at, as I could not do anything like as good a job so nice job!

Re the OCD here is a picture to maybe help you calm downcalm you down.

EDIT: I'm actually proud of myself being member of an ERB club, even if it's just a 5er, because I never thought about playing more than 4 strings! The same way I'm kinda scared of an "extra string" to get in my way, but oh, life is change, gotta move...

Nothing to be scared of .... you don't even start to break a sweat until you get to 7 strings .... ;)

A totally different concept.


This happens to be the worlds first sub contra bass guitar.

Actually, Cliff was originally planning on using JP's designs and building that style of bass after JP stopped building, but apparently nobody was too serious about ordering one.

BTW, here is my newest CB for the ERB club!
