For 16K from a solid dealer I'd like to think it was real. By the way, who could have sweat that acidic? Do they chase their shots with Draino? I wouldn't think exuding something that corrosive would be incompatible with life.

Makes me think the "extreme Mojo" bass has been refretted. The bass might have been dipped in solvent like the antique dealer used to use.

But I got to meet Bobby Vega at NAMM and see his old bass up close. On Bobbys bass the wear seems more natural and the wood was very dark where the finish had worn off

... Bobby is a very cool guy too ... monster player!

That's fake mojo.

There's no way the body would accumulate that much wear and the chrome pieces look the way they do.

Covers are probably new. Control plate and knobs don't look normally aged to me. They are whitish, not darkened. Is this a miracle of modern chemistry or ???

The tug bar looks too new as well. For the rest of the bass to have become as it is and the tug bar look untouched it would have to be...another miracle.
