First of all, a stack '61 is a beautiful site. But what in the world leads to this kind of wear? Its almost looks as if the owner had a nervous habit of chipping the finish of with his fingernails.....and put it for sale before mission completion. I can imagine a story behind most of the wear, but what circumstances of normal playing would lead to the finish between the input jack and the bridge cover to be worn to the wood?
). Basically, as punishment (I suppose the bass crapped out on him or something), the guy tied it to the back of his car, and dragged it all the way home. Probably repeated for the rest of his gigs up until now.
