Facebook ad looking for a bass player

Further proof that parents and the ... ahemmmmm... EDUCATIONAL system has failed us. Do people talk like this? Do people write like this? Stream of Consciousness expelled all over your keyboard? I looked at my father's year book recently, and was shocked to see how well the handwriting was presented by friends giving their best wishes. Beautiful cursive handwriting. I am prone, just like everyone else, to making a grammatical error now and then. But there have been other thread posts that have shown other CLers with the same manic-type drivel. I have an example of this, in my possession, that shows a man looking for some possible band members. His rant reminds one of a Charles Manson manifesto on steroids. I should post it. It is shocking. These people scare me.

Get off my lawn . . . YMMV . . . Grammar Nazi . . etc. . . . etc.

Pass the tort.

Be cool to have this translated to English

I think something like this:

North Alabama band band Violent Nature seeks a replacement bassist. We're looking for someone who is talented and dedicated as well as capable of deciphering walls of text. Our influences are Pantera, Lamb of God, Black Label Society, Pink Floyd, Tool, and Acid Bath. Please keep in mind we are an aggressive band, and will expect applicants for this role to fit our image. We are all multi-instrumentalists, so it will be a plus if you are too. Text for details. Scott, Justin, and I look forward to meeting you.

A lot of these Craigslist posts belong in the casuals section, not the musician section sometimes.
actually I beilieve the Po said it was a facebook AD. NOT Craigslist! not that it makes any less weird!! Just clarifying..

Doesn't sound like a gig I'd be interested in, but will cut 'em a break on the train-wrecked post... I used to work with some guys who couldn't read or write, but were absolutely brilliant carpenters.

That said, the ad reads like some ignorant (meaning poorly educated) kids, so I'm not defending the pitiful lack of grammar skills. Heck, it's just as commonplace as it ever was, just adjusted for 2016 inflation by smartphones and computers instead of pen and paper.
