Facebook issue

My Facebook homepage seems to be really weird.

I can't see my ticker and my chat bar. The chat bar was always extended so I could see who was online and what not, but now it's been collapsed so I have to click on it everytime to see who's online.

As for my ticker, it doesn't show sometimes when I refresh the page.

I heard that zooming in or out would sometimes work, but that doesn't work. It looks like my Facebook is too centered; the left hand side with all the groups, messages, apps, and everything are usually to the left but they are a bit more centered.

Because of this, the ticker and chat bar have no room to extend themselves fully. What could be the issue?

I only use FB to post provocative stuff and at the same time, it's always undergoing some sort of transition. Ina couple 'o' days, once you're used to the new look, it'll revert back to the old display.

Try clearing out your old Internet cookies & browsing history?

Yeah. Nothing worked...

If you're using IE, any of their updates may have upset the formatting. Enough user complaints & they'll fix it. Google Chrome, Safari, etc. probably something similar ther or, FB is really trying to find out if they're still relevant.

P. S. I'm in Mexico, near Cancun vacationing. I had 2 Marguarita's before lunch. Things are kinda mushy right now.

I only use Google Chrome. I thought it was the browser so I went to Safari and logged in. Same format...none of the aforementioned stuff shows up.

Then, either you unintentionally clicked something that caused a format change or, (more likely) FB just went full-bore totalitarian on you & instituted it for your *benefit*...'cause they care & want your FB experience to exceed all expectations.

Facebook prooobbbbaaaallly went all bore-totalitarian on me.

It reverted back to normal but my friends list is all whack. Eh not complaining. Guess it'll take a day or a year for FB to update it

I do think it's funny: people complain about "big bad Microsoft (and IE)", but in reality Facebook and Google has far more of our information and they use it for whatever purposes they wish. (hey you clicked on the "I Agree" on our Terms, so we now own your soul!)
