Fairfield Circuitry Barbershop Question....?

Well, I was thinking about. But not quite sure right now. Hard to meet all the different tastes and applications...
A simple demo with bass, running through a couple of settings would do(for me anyways).Basically something like 90% of builders have on their sites.

I just ordered one. Looking forward to trying it out. I do have a Vintage Microtubes, which I really like, but I just fancied something a little more transparent for another option.
So my Barbershop arrived yesterday. Gave it a run out last night. It is indeed very transparent. No bottom end loss at all. Initially I was a little underwhelmed. Not really noticing much difference in my instrument at all. However, after having messed around with it I think i have found it out. I have drive set to max and sag at about 12 o'clock. Plays really smooth until I dig in, then I get my break up. Very nice. I shall keep experimenting with settings. I use a G&L passive jazz bass, pickups not very hot at all. I am boosting my overall signal now with the BS volume knob. Plugged in to my Vintage Microtubes I'm getting some great results. It's definitely an always on pedal
Yes. For my particular bass and style it really needs full drive. And even then it is extremely subtle. However, I only had it on last night for the first time, so I shall no doubt be messing around with the settings over the weekend

When I first got mine i did quite a lot of tweaking. I find it's quite fun!

There are not too many videos on YouTube for the BS on bass guitar. One I did watch compared it with the Blueberry. My BS pedal sounds nothing like the BS in the video. He has a lot more break up, even fuzz!! I'm assuming he is using a pre amp or active bass
...or just a hotter bass?

Does yours have the internal trimpots yet?
I'd be curious to hear, as they hinted on their instapage that BS pedals will have some. That was a little while ago
I'll check tonight. However, I did buy it used so I don't know how old it is. It is millennium edition I think
