I'd love to give the Westwood a try. What are your BS settings? What effect are you getting? Not 'In person'. Looks like a good pedal , and quite versatile.
I like the layout of the Barbershop a lot though( and that there is no tone control as such).
Besides that, fact that it is so responsive to touch is something I like.
Given a chance to, I would however totally try out the Westwood, just for kicks.

I just got a message from Fairfield, they told me that the Barbershops don't have the trim pot yet. But they will do soon!! I've asked for more details....I'd be curious to hear, as they hinted on their instapage that BS pedals will have some. That was a little while ago

Indeed. That's what it will beHmmm…I missed that. Any clue to what that might be? some sort of an input gain control maybe?

My passive p bass struggles to get what I would like. I'm actually considering getting a Southampton Fifth Gear to put in front of the Barbershop. I've heard great things on here about that pedalMakes sense. While my P-Bass gets a nice breakup from my BS, my guitar doesn't seem to be able to coax too much out of it.
I think there is a bit more info on their instagram page?Hmmm…I missed that. Any clue to what that might be? some sort of an input gain control maybe?

i think the one in the new barbershop does sensitivity7gain.(?).Just received my Barbershop today and noticed the presence of internal trimpots.
After research, I've found an Instagram post regarding the Barbershop PCB update with the mention : ""adjusting nothing" applies to all of our pedals trimpots's""
I think this is better to leave these trims alone.
Is someone know the exact purpose of each of these trimpots ?

Would you mind posting a pic of the new Barbershop's inside?
Thank you!!
Thank you!!
Is that Four Trimpots I see in there?!
I would totally try those pots...very carefully, to see what each does - remembering the original positions.Yes indeed !
But I wouldn't dare to touch them before I know what they actually do.
It will be great if a good soul can shed some light on this matter![]()
Interesting. Do you also have a shot of the front (or the serial number for a rough estimate of when that „new millenium“ edition started)? Thanks!
