The feedback loop is amazing. Originally I wanted a clean blend for my unpleasant surprie and went with this because I felt like it could open up some possibilities. With the US I found that the added feedback is amazing and it gives more to the settings I already like. With the Mantic Hulk it opens up the pedal. I did feel like I was not getting the 100% experience with my amp, but with this thing it is monstrous. In addition with the accountant outside of the loop i found that when you turn on the looper (without any other pedal in the loop turned on) it adds clarity and depth, I don't know if it's the work of the JFET preamps but it's really nice.

Yes Ratio 0 Pad 0 or Ratio 1 Pad 0, depending of how much grit I want. Since I have an hot bass Pad 1 or 2 start distorting, so I use this only if I need an overdrive for the song. Ratio 2 Pad 2 is very cool though, I really like that hit at the start of each note.

Yes Ratio 0 Pad 0 or Ratio 1 Pad 0, depending of how much grit I want. Since I have an hot bass Pad 1 or 2 start distorting, so I use this only if I need an overdrive for the song. Ratio 2 Pad 2 is very cool though, I really like that hit at the start of each note.

I'm also running a couple of basses with hot pickups. I've been using the Accountant the last 6 or 7 years. It's been my preferred overdriven tone for much of that time, usually Ration 0, Pad 2. I never use Pad 1 and I rarely use Ratio 2, but the rest of of the combinations get regular action.

If I want clean compression, my other compressor is the one on the board.

Yeah definitely not a clean compressor, at the lowest setting I still get a little amount of grit which I love. I still have to experiment with the overdriven settings but I'm enjoying too much the low settings :laugh:
