When you say “Preamp” what exactly do you mean? Pedal companies use that term loosely now a days.

I am thinking something with minimal but effective eq (big tone wheel) maybe with two mid range bands to select from(dip switch?), maybe groundlift (dip switch) and DI out...

I can piece out volume, drive and mix. As for the other knob I have no clue, there is also a switch and below it says “Range” that seems to have three positions labeled H, M and L but hey for all I know they could of changed some things.
Haha yea it’s very fun to decode this stuff. I will say , the only other pedal that uses a red indicator is the Barbershop..and they made a joke post about a Barbershop OD4. The suspense is killing me lolYes. It IS a guessing game !

Maybe they’re retiring the Barbershop? I don’t think that’s likely but I could be totally wrong about this new pedal, I’m just going by what’s stamped on the teaser video. Do you think it’s some sort of modulation? Envelope filter?
I have no clue at all but wouldn't mind an envelope filter.

As to the accountant; I really like it - for its' drive tones mostly and the heavy squish it can do.
For just a bit of compression I just use the barbershop.
That could only be an envelope filter at this point, I don’t think it’s a reverb or phaser.
