No, it’s a current employee(FC liked the comment too). I’m not totally sure it’s the next release but I know for a fact a Reverb has been in the works for some years.Aahh...

This was on FC’s latest Instagram post. Where did you hear that it’s a Reverb in the works?
I did not hear that.
What I did hear is that a reverb might be in the works.

Really, I have no clue. I don't even know if what we hear in the clip is them teasing something about to happen' or just making some noise for the fun of it.
I do like surprises but would still like an octave.
Did you see that circuit board in the beginning? Looks like it was definitely pass the breadboard stage. Also it looks much bigger than most of their PCB’s. Maybe my theory of them using the Hammond 1590DD is true? We will see

I'd definitely love to check out Fairfield's take on a reverb. I've owned most of their pedals at one time or another and still have three. The Randy's Revenge is on my bass board and I have an Accountant and the Shallow Water on my two guitar boards. Just like with Iron Ether stuff, there's something about FC pedals that just appeal to me and the sounds I like.
Two potential clues in this video i sent and at one point you can see a Breadboard with what looks to be one of those small blue spring tanks on top of it (I'm not 100% sure about this one) and "REVERB" written on their whiteboard.
Same for me, the Fairfield pedals always hit right in the sweet spot for me. I've got an Accountant and a Shallow Water on my board, and will probably add either a Barbershop or Roger That next.
If they made a preamp and a reverb, I think I could be very happy with a Fairfield-only board.
I would definitely love a high headroom Pre-Amp from them, with a proper EQ or maybe even a DI!
I'd like that as well, but doubt they'll do it as everybody else is doing it already.
I think that’s one of their only faults, they strive on being unique but it sometimes can prevent awesome pedals being made. The Barbershop is probably their simplest pedal design wise.
Not sure if they 'strive' for uniqueness or just do what they feel is fun?
As to a preamp pedal; the one company i'd really like to see one from is Glockenklang.
- Not to say that one from FC couldn't be good too.

Agreed. To me it feels like it comes natural to them however. Not like something they need to 'strive for' or do.
A reverb would be interesting but I hope it isn't Belton based if that means it will have pre-delay that can't be dialed out. I love how the Caroline Meteore sounds but the pre-delay makes it a little hard to use in a lot of situations. Maybe that isn't a limitation of using the brick for a reverb but that was my impression from hearing Caroline talk about it.
