Fake or Genuine Jazz Bass?

take a look at the bottom of the fretboard, where it sits above the body. That curve with the sharp corners doesn't look like any Fender fretboard I've ever seen.

So, in combination with the other dozen or more reasons given above... fake.
 
This is defintely genuine... a genuine fake. The serial number would've been about the easiest thing to replicate. It's just a cheap knockoff with a Fender decal.

Nope, those tuners are not correct for any Fender. You can put those on your list of incorrect parts.

Those tuners are almost correct for an 80's Japanese Fender. That's it, though, and that isn't what this bass is anyway.
