Yep, from the pickups, the pickup cover, and the bridge it looks like a Chickenbacker to me (made in China). But your right, I should have read more carefully before posting.

Doesn't matter what they say, it still says Rickenbacker on the headstock.
It's as good as removed.

The '73 looks real to me. It has, obviously, been refinished.

What about this one looks fake to you? The finish is maybe some sort of custom or refin, but there's nothing I can spot, from the pics, which suggests fake to me. The post isn't exactly detailed, but the bass looks pretty right to my eyes

EDIT: In fact, the serial number checks out on RICs website as a Feb 1973. You can clearly read it on the last pic from the listing
