FAKE SPECTOR ON EBAY !

i asked the guy for more pics of the spector and he said that those are the pics of the bass thats for sale . i just really dont think its legit . no tellin what would actually show up on your door step .
hey ive emailed this guy before about a no name bass he had cheap i was thinking about grabbing for the hell of it. iactually am working on a 8 string octave problem and wante dto see if i could grab a body cheap

I my self own a rebop so i wouldnt buy one thats for sure but he has other stuff that non ripoff looking. i dunno could be a gem or could downright suck but id throw my 25 bucks in just to see what comes back here

Wow, that can't really be the bass in the pic, no way. If so, I am interested.
Outside of the issue with ethics, the biggest problem with the construction on these is proper drying of the woods used, which I guarantee isn't done properly. Remember the brazilian knock off builder? Saw quite a few of his which he ended up selling on ebay with the laminates delaminating, twists developing, etc. SX also had a big issue with "fret sprout" which was due to milling the necks at too high of a moisture content.
That said, if you're actually getting the bass pictured, I'm willing to give it a shot....

Like i said im in imagine an 8 string spector copy LOL and he says he custom builds that would be intriuging just to see how it turns out
Hey look in the pics u can see the headstock of another one right below it so it looks like he may be selling these it says he has 3 what it is we dont know but i just noticed the top of the headstock and tuner
I can tell how much I hate a fake guitar like this.due to lack of knowledge of bass gear then,my first "made in usa" fender jazz bass like this one cost me $600.

I'm not nearly the bass expert that others here are, but here lately, there have been several basses I've seen on ebay and CL that have sort of clicked in the back of my brain. Sort of like, after looking at hundreds of basses while shopping and just surfing, something wasn't right about them. And they just sort of smelled fake to me.
This makes me very wary.

pj , said that he has seen it and they did this a week or so ago . he said he would contact ebay again and have it removed again . it is a ns5xl that was made for an overseas show and this pic was taken in shanghai . absolutely not this builders work at all .....
