Ok, how about everyone post pictures of their best, colorful Fall foliage scenes.

The only requirement, is that you took the picture yourself.

Naturally, phones pictures are fine.

Also, please tell us where the photo was taken.
Just the city and state are fine.

Right now, where I am in the JFK airport area, there's not much going on.
I hope to be adding a few shots myself before long.

Peak foliage last week or two around here. Here’s a pic from today. Unfortunately overcast so not much in the way of brilliant colours. Ottawa, Ontario. 45N 75W.

Truly nothing special, but here's the view from this morning. We've been under drought conditions here in southwestern Connecticut, but we received two inches of rain just yesterday. As I looked skyward, the clouds were parting, but this oak seemed confused: "Am I do supposed to do it now? Is the sun low enough? Should I wait until closer to Halloween?"

Out of curiosity, how does leaf collection work in NYC? Is that the sanitation department's problem? Or do you have to deal with it yourself, like shoveling snow off of the sidewalk?

If a tree's leaves fall on your property, you are responsible for picking them up, and bagging them. The Department of Sanitation announces the days it will collect them.

Ok, here I am breaking the rules of the thread, but this is one of the nicest outdoor portraits I've ever seen.
Very pretty subject, excellent balance of available and fill light and excellent background. It has an Autumn feel to it.
I just thought some of you would enjoy this.
