SO happy with my "axsenal" these days. L to R: 2003&1997 Stingray5s, 2011 WPS Star Bass 5; the fretless reverse P+J 5er and the black Jazz are cheap parts. After much owning and trading for the past decade these cover everything i need.

What kind of bass is the red short scale?

That's Gretsch TK300, model 7624, from 1978. It has a TV Jones pickup, a different bridge, and a black (came with white) pickguard.

There is a Gretsch Broadkaster 7605 behind it.

I photoshopped this last year when my wife bugged me for a family portrait outdoors. She was not amused.

I've since swapped the P bass for a Yamaha BB434.



And changed out the pickguard on the Jazz.

These are my two main basses- Ibanez AEB5E with D'Addario Tapes and a Squier VM Fretless Jazz with TIJFs. The Ibanez rarely leaves the house. I'm eventually going to get a set of TIJFs for it and might take it to rehearsal.

I also have a Schecter Raiden Special-4 with La Bella White Nylon Tapes that I hardly ever use. It's sitting in my closet in a cheap gig bag. The only reason I haven't sold it is because my wife won't let me.
