Right on! I played bass in MTX before the "Love is Dead" record and after "Everyone's Entitled," so I just missed being included in your record collection! My time in MTX was '88-'93, then I joined Samiam and was in that band from '93-'97.

OK, so for the Canadian content, in western Canada(Alberta) in 2 different bands, I opened for Prism(Spaceship Superstar)1999 & Chilliwack(Lonesome Mary, Gone Gone Gone, et al) in 2005. Past their prime, yes, but when a tight harmony group nails it, they kick a$$.

Cool shows! I'm Canadian, as if you can't tell by my love for Chilliwack and Prism. Lots of these older bands still kick it, but they’re just not popular anymore...doesn't mean their musical skill has diminished.

Country Weather is a San Francisco, Bay Area Band. At one time, Nor Cal and Pacific Northwest, Oregon, Nevada.

The original guitar player, was Greg Douglas. Country Weather, Mistress, Van Morison, Hot Tuna, Steve Miller Band, (he wrote Jungle Love), Greg Khin Band, Terry and the Pirates, Link Wray Band, Tom Johnston, ... I wish we still had him.

In myy former band, shared stages w/ Beck, Weezer, Excell, Living End (don't know if you've heard of them), Boredoms, Catherine Wheel I think it was & bunch of struggling L.A. indie noise punk bands who are gone now or never became famous.

We did a tour opening for Bad Religion. We played festivals with Rancid. We opened for No Doubt just before they got huge. We played the first and second Warped tours, so played with whatever bands were on those. Actually, if you name any popular punk rock type band from the early-mid 90s, we probably played with them.

The bands I was in back then were called The Mr. T Experience and Samiam, if you're curious.

I remember living end with stand up bass.
