Jerry Peek, at one point with the Steve Morse Band (before LaRue). Although Jerry's use of the thumb technique in unlikely places provided him with more notoriety than the pick did. I'm not sure what he's doing now; I think he lives in Atlanta and does not play full-time.

I used to watch Jerry perform with 3PM in Raleigh. I can remember him playing a variety of ways.
I did see him use a pick, and I also remember 'the thumb' too. He was the one who talked me
into a buying a Carvin bass in '75. thanks Jer...
