Famous musicians who play Stingrays?

Todd "The Rod" Kowalski from Propagandhi is my fave Stingrayer

Can't believe I forgot Pino. For a 15 year span, having Pino Palladino play fretless Stingray on your record guaranteed you platinum and at least one Grammy nomination. Amazing playing and sound.

Tony Kanal played Stingray 5 on about half the songs on Return to Saturn and the Rock Steady album. Other than that he's straight Yamaha, first a BB1600 and then a BB3000. The man has great, great taste. He also likes nice basses, too.

Pretty much every bassist who was in a 90s pop punk band played a stingray before they got a custom P or J. Mark Hoppus and Mike Dirnt are the first 2 that come to mind.

Bassist of At the Drive In

Also, I know it's not the same, but the bassist of radiohead plays a Sterling, and when I had a StingRay it was always easy to duplicate his tone. (Specifically on their first two albums)
