Fantastic new pedal from TC Electronic!!

This is an "always on" pedal for some guitarists I know. They need a Bluetooth version so it can be controlled remotely...by me. I wonder if it works for drummers.

Saturnworks makes a momentary killswitch for about $20 on etsy.

I, too, prefer my silence in stereo. Good thinking. Much more full in its absence.

Isn't it? He seems I be double-clicking it to get it to go off and on at the beginning of the video, but towards the end it seems like he's just clicking once to toggle, could just be how the film is edited at th end though.

Also unless I have latching and non-latching backwards. If feel an intuitive meaning but sometimes it seems I am getting them backwards.

Is this how it works? -

Latching - each click toggle on/off. This is the normal way most effect pedals work.

Non-latching: when you hold it down, it cuts the signal. When you let go, the signal is recnnected.

Or is what I am thinking of here actually 'momentary'?

Yup, you got it right. Non-latching is momentary.

That's another thing that's so genius about this pedal; placement matters so much. If you want to silence your distortion, put it after the distortion. If you want to distort your silence, put it before the distortion. Countless possibilities!

Duh. It's a vacuum kill switch. Everyone knows tube silence is louder than solid state silence.
